My work combines abstraction and realism, containing references to specific places, objects. I seek for more than the 'everyday familiar vision of things' and focus on exploring the interaction of colour, form, texture and conceptual space using watercolour, acrylics, pastel, and at times a combination of these.

Following art college I worked as a graphic designer in London, Essex and Bristol. For the last few decades I've painted full time and my studio is now based in Surrey.
